How to recover lost photos on iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus

When getting an iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus, you certainly keep any stuff you want to save, such as apps, movies, songs, pictures, documents, contacts, messages, then the issue of storage arises. Or, follow these instructions to restore the iPhone 8 (Plus) via iCloud to bring back the photos of yours. It's a time-consuming way.
- First, make sure you've create backup of iPhone 8 (Plus) over to iCloud. Go to Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > Manage Storage.
- Return to Settings screen, scroll down and tap General > Reset > Reset All Content and Settings. Note that this will clear out all files on the device, so back up your phone before erasing.
- Now your device should be set up again. Follow the iOS Setup Assistant to accomplish the setup process.
- On the App & Data screen, select Restore from iCloud Backup, then log into iCloud account.
- After choosing a backup to restore to, the restoration starts. Depending on the size of the backup and the speed of the network connection, the process may take varied time.
This way the photos in the iCloud backup will be recovered to Photos app on iPhone 8 (Plus).
3. Retrieve Photos on iPhone 8 (Plus) from iTunes Backup - Apple Way
Restoring iPhone 8 (Plus) with iTunes backup files is another feasible option for recovering the photos you've deleted or lost from the Camera Roll in Photos app.
- Connect the iPhone 8 (Plus) to the computer and launch iTunes.
- Click the Device icon on the iTunes window.
- Go to Summary tab from the left column, select Restore Backup button
- Select a backup that includes your photos, click Restore button.
iTunes will do its business and get lost photos recovered on iPhone 8 (Plus).
Be mindful that getting deleted pictures from iTunes backup will overwrite current data on the device with the contents of the backup.
